Suffolk teacher charged with DUI during spring break
SUFFOLK – A Suffolk high school teacher is facing drunken driving charges. Virginia Beach Police pulled over Robert Rogers 1:30 a.m. Thursday.  Suffolk Schools was on spring break at the time. There is a disciplined yet hard penalties mandated by state law for repeat offenders. In some states, even first offenders may face lengthy license suspensions and a weekend in jail. Most of the States have voted for Habitual Violator laws, which entitle lawbreaking penalties for maximum three DUI assurances. These lawbreakers are deprived of many of their civil rights. They are not allowed to vote or own a weapon. Even their driver license are lost permanently or delayed for long, long years.
