Detention: How The Stress Of Being A High School Principal Drove Me To Drink by Jeffrey J.

Detention – How the Stress of Being a High School Principal Drove me to Drink is a recollection of my life from age 16 to my eventual downfall as an unemployed 47 year-old principal. Educators are often assaulted, threatened or confront experiences that result in police investigations and more, events leading to stress and anxiety in their daily lives. Some of these educators may even become addicted to alcohol or drugs, as I have, due to the stressors of the job. As a high school principal for 10 years, I found the grip on the bottle got tighter and tighter.
